Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As the artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. For her last year she worked as a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post has been associated with several games shows, as well as her acting work. She is the daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F.
