Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As the artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. For her last year she worked as a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut.
